Though Jiri doesn’t serve trekkers with much of splendid mountain views, the alpine forest, ethnic villages of ethnic groups such as Brahmin, Chhetri, Magar, Tamang and Sherpa, glacial rivers, Buddhist monasteries make passing through Jiri a worth one. Next in this trek are many famous hubs viz. Namche Bazaar, Everest viewpoint, Khumjung village, Gokyo Ri (5,357 m.), Cho La pass (5,368 m.), Gorakshep and Kalapathar (5,545 m.).
