The small landlocked country Nepal is situated at the lap of Himalayas and has been blessed with nature and historic arts and traditions. There are numerous beautiful places so, visiting once is not enough.  The country is home to 8 highest mountains out of 10 in the world. The country is the second latest rich in water resources and has plenty of splendid places including forests, lakes, valleys, temples, caves, monasteries. Here we have suggested some wonderful and beautiful places you can travel and explore while you are in Nepal with us.

  • Kathmandu Valley

The city of temple Kathmandu owns many beautiful places. Ther are 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites inside the valley. Pashupatinath Temple, Soyambhunath Stupa, Changu Narayan Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhha Stupa are World Heritage sites inside the valley. These beautiful places offer historical and ancient cultures to explore. Besides these places, Chandragiri Hill Top Hiking and Nagarkot Hill Hiking are popular journeys inside the Kathmandu.

  • Pokhara Valley

The most beautiful city in Nepal is Pokhara. Pokhara is wonderfully blessed by nature. The valley has different beautiful lakes to visit like Fewa Lake, Rupa Lake, Begnas Lake, and many more. There are some holy places like temples, monasteries, and caves inside the valley.

  • Everest Base Camp

There are several beautiful trekking destinations in Nepal. The most popular one is trekking to the foot of the world’s highest mountain. The Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) trek offers you stunning views of the high massifs, splendid view of the sunrise, different beautiful lakes located in the Himalayas, thrilling High Passes, and exploration of mountain lives of Sherpa people. The trekking trail takes you to the maximum elevation of 5,545 meters at Kala Patthar Viewpoint above EBC.

  • Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is another splendid place in the southwest of Nepal you must visit while you are in Nepal. The UNESCO World Heritage site owns a total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 126 species of fishes, and 56 species of herpetofauna. One-horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tigers, and Gharial Crocodile are major attractions of the Park.

  • Lumbini: Birthplace of Lord Buddha

The birthplace of Lord Buddha Lumbini is located in the western Terai region of Nepal. The major attraction of the holy town includes a Mayadevi Temple, a sacred pond, a Bodhi tree, Ashoka Stambha (Piller), and a museum. There are also many monasteries inside the region built by different countries to show their native Buddhist culture.

  • Rara Lake

The Queen of Lake Rara is located at an elevation of 3,000 meters in the far-western region of Nepal. The lake has a maximum depth of 167 meters from the surface. The splendid surroundings and their wonderful views are breathtaking.

  • Poon Hill Sunrise View Hiking

Poon Hill Hike is the best hiking place in Nepal. The place is very beautiful and early morning hike to hill offers splendid views of sunrise arising beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif. It is located at an altitude of 3,340 meters in the Annapurna region in Nepal. The journey starts and ends at Pokhara.

  • Annapurna Base Camp

The Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 meters) offers you close enough views of the Annapurna Massif, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountain peaks without actually summiting them. During the trekking, you will be greeted with astonishing views that include everything from villages, beautiful rhododendron trees, dense subtropical to alpine forests, massive snow-covered mountains, and glacial rivers and lakes. The path passes through the Annapurna Sanctuary which is the home to thousands of wildlife species.

  • Gokyo Lake

Gokyo Lake is situated at an altitude above 4,700 meters in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Trekking to Gokyo Lake offers stunning views of high massifs and splendid views of large glaciers. You will walk across high passes and the journey would be adventurous and wonderful to Gokyo Lake. The series of Gokyo Lake consists of seven lakes. You can hike to Gokyo Ri Peak (5,357 meters) for the overall top view of Gokyo Valley and Gokyo Lakes.
