Kathmandu-Lumbini Tour

Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha. He was born as Siddhartha Gautam in 623 B.C. Later, after being enlightened, he started being known as Lord Gautam Buddha. He is the founder of Buddhism.

The UNESCO listed Lumbini as a world heritage site in 1997. The setting of Lumbini consists of the Maya Devi temple, Ashok Pillar and several monasteries. Maya Devi temple is the most important temple of Lumbini and in the history of Buddhism too. The temple is named after Maya Devi, Lord Buddha’s mother. There are various sculptures in and around the temple premises that are carved with various scenes of Buddha’s birth.

Beside the temple are a sacred garden, where Siddhartha Gautam was born and a sacred garden, Puskarni, where Maya Devi took bath exact before giving birth to Siddhartha Gautam and also Siddhartha Gautam was given his first bath.

Apart from these important spots, the Myanmar Temple, International Gautami Nuns Temple, the China Temple, the Japan Peace Stupa and other monuments are also some attractions of Lumbini.

The lord Buddha birth place

Departure at 6am from Kathmandu, bf on the way in Naubise and lunch at mid day or 1pm then continue drive to Lumbini and after reaching over there transfer to hotel and free time for refreshment until the evening etc…





Overnight at Lumbini

At 6am get ready for the visiting Mayadevi temple and monastery and after that come back to hotel for Breakfast around 7:30am and get ready around 8:30am to visit other monasteries, temples and many more beautiful places in surrounding Lumbini. After finishing the visits come back to hotel and free for refreshment till the evening time






Bf at 6:30am and Get ready around 7:30am for return back to Kathmandu, Lunch on the way around mid day and continue to drive to Kathmandu and then will be dropped in the same location where picked up in morning time.
