Kathmandu Namo Buddha Tour

Namo Buddha is among the popular Buddhist places viz. Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudha Stupa. Namo Buddha means ‘saluation to Buddha’. Namo Buddha is 40 km. away from Kathmandu valley. Prince Siddhartha Gautam is believed to have offered his body to a hungry tigress and her cubs and took re-birth as Lord Buddha. An old stone sculpture is placed in Namo Buddha that describes the history behind Namo Buddha.

On the way to Namo Buddha, we can enjoy people, houses and environment of Newari culture. We can also see beautiful scenery of terrace farming, emerald hills, pine forest and moreover, superb mountain view if weather permits. When we stop for lunch in Dhulikhel we can see Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Lhotse and some other peaks.

Kathmandu – Namo Buddha

Departure at 6:30am from Kathmandu, bf on the way and visit to Namo Buddha. Lunch at mid day or 1pm in Dhulikhel then continue drive to Kathmandu and will be dropped in the same location where picked up in morning time.
