Numbur Cheese Circuit Trek
The Numbur Cheese Circuit is a trek route in the Ramechhap District of Nepal. Shivalaya is the gateway to the Numbur Cheese Circuit. It is also the gateway to Everest Base Camp.
The trek through the Numbur Cheese Circuit is graded as a difficult one. Some trekking experience and good health condition is required for this trek. This trek passes through the remote villages.
The oldest cheese factory of Nepal also falls in this route. Yak and Chauri husbandry is the major occupation of locals here.
The snow-capped peaks viz. Lantang, Annapurna, Numbur Chuli, Gaurishankar and others are visible during this trek.
In addition to views of peak, the Sherpa villages, terraced farming, lakes and gorges are also enjoyable in this trek.
Shivalaya, Khahare, Panipakha, Mane Danda, Jata Pokhari, Thare, Ngesu and Kyama are some major places in the Numbur Cheese Circuit.
