Pisang Peak (6,092 m.) is considered one of the easier climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. The Pisang Peak has majestically stood up above the village of Pisang and has formed the shape of pyramid in the summit. Pisang Peak lies on the way to the highest pass of the world “Throng La Pass” and offers very good scope for exploration.
For Pisang Peak Climbing the trekking starts from Besisahar in the Valley of the Marsyangdi River. The diversity of flora and fauna along the trail of this Annapurna Region until reaching the Pisang peak is incredible. Firstly, we departure to Besisahar from Katmandu and start trek enroot common Annapurna Circuit trails and reach Pisang in 5 days. A Kharka at 4380m is considered the best place for setting up the base camp for Pisang Peak to ascent. The paths toward the summit of Pisang Peak ascend through wood and pasture and ultimately reach the Kharka. The high camp for this Pisang Peak Climbing is set up at (5,400m) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge. There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. The well-defined ridge leads to the final snow slope which is quite steep and a little difficult to reach the summit of Peak Pisang.
The summit of the Pisang Peak offers truly splendid views of the Annapurna Range like Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and IV, Ghangapurna, and the Glacier Dome. Thus indeed, it is a peak of Sightseeing of snow-capped mountains of the Area. After a successful summit, the descent is made through the same route and trek continued to Manang valley and proceeds further up to Throng Pedi, cross a Thorong la pass and approach to Muktinath, the other part of the Annapurna Region. Next-Day descent trek to Jomsom to wait for an adventurous 20 minutes flight back to Pokhara.
We offer a full board package for this Pisang Peak climbing as a unique adventure including climbing permits from NMA and all other necessary logistics form arrival up to departure from Kathmandu. Upon your request we do also offer only base camp service of this peak climbing where the climber may arrange all required logistics for above the base camp. Yet, the company provides a peak permit. The route of this trekking and climbing lies in Annapurna Region is also known as Annapurna Conservation Area.

The journey begins from Kathmandu to Besisahar through the comfort road crossing green hills and rivers to reach into the beautiful town. We will drive for 6 hours to reach there.
The walking trail begins from Beshisahar by climbing uphill through the beautiful villages, farming lands, and forested landscapes to reach Bahundanda. It will take 6 hours of trekking to reach there.
Another 6 hours of trekking begins early in the morning from Baundanda as the sunrise seems beyond the Himalayas above the green high hills. We will trek through plain farming pastures then climbing hill finally to enter into the beautiful village of Chyamche.
We will trek for 6 hours crossing beautiful mountain villages and exploring their culture and behavior throughout the journey. We will reach the Dharapani village in Manang Valley after crossing dense forest and climbing uphill for a while.
With the great and remarkable views of Annapurna series and Lamjung Himal we begin our trek through a steep forested ridges along the several landslides on the way to Chame.
With Lamjung Himal (6,893 m) sparkling in the morning sun, we will ascend towards a big hill to reach Upper Pisang.
We will spend time at a high altitude location enjoying great views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peaks. We will spend the whole day resting and exploring the village. Exploring the village and interacting with the locals offer us to learn about their lifestyles and cultures.
We will begin trek ascending on a trail that passes through a thin forest and grasslands. The pasture is used for grazing yaks and is also the best place to set up our camp. The ground is flat and falls on a frequented trail.
We will start trekking towards High Camp through the south-east ridge of the peak. As we reach the high camp, we will set up our camp then take a basic climbing training with our climbing expert guide. We will learn the use of climbing gears like ice axes, climbing boots and crampons, ascender, harness and other.
We will start early in the morning and walk through rocky surfaces which goes steeply up to Pisang Peak. After spending some quality time at the top of the peak, we will descend back to the Base Camp for the overnight stay.
The trail passes through Upper Pisang via Geru as it offers outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and others. As we walk near Manang the climate becomes more cold and dry. We will visit Barge Monastery in Manang.
We will cross a wooden bridge over small river then through an ancient Mani wall in a pleasant meadow to reach Yak Kharka. We will continue walking bypassing Ledarvillage to reach Thorang Phedi.
We will cross one of the highest passes in the world, Thorong La Pass. We have to begin around 3 a.m. in the morning. We will ascend through snowy rocky route to cross the pass then head towards Muktinath for the overnight stay.
We will continue our trek to Jomsom which is popular for its sweet apples and strong winds. After reaching Jomsom, we can visit its Ecological Museum that provides information on Jomsom’s rich culture as well as the flora and fauna that are native to the valley.
We will take an early flight towards Pokhara, the city of Lakes. We will visit different lakes and thrilling caves in Pokhara.
We will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes .Overnight at Hotel
Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (DurbarSquare, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.
We will transfer you to the International Airport from where you can return to your home town or join our next package.
