We request you to read very carefully our terms and conditions of the contract. It includes the information to our clients regarding the Booking Confirmation, Booking Payment and Refund system (if available), Cancellation Process, and other charges levied as per policy.
1. Booking and Payments
-To make a Booking confirm you must send us some advance for hotel and air ticket with 30% of payment of the trekking/hiking/tour.-Please, contact us once regarding direct deposit details. The client should pay the bank charge himself/herself at the time of payment from his/her bank. A receipt will be provided as per the amount received in our account only. 2. Amendments
If you are about to make amendments to the tour arrangements we require notifications in writing. You must accept the cancellation charges and liable for costs that can’t be revoked and refunded like government permits, flight tickets, and insurance installments.
3. Cancellation Policy
Ticino Treks Nepal accepts the cancellation in writing and the refund procedure will be as follows:
- If cancellation is made 60 days before the trip departure date, 20% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge.
- If cancellation is made 15 days before the trip departure date, 40% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge.
- If cancellation is made prior to 1 week of the trip departure date, 60% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge.
- If cancellation is made within the week of departure 70% of the total cost will be charged.
- No refund will be made in case of cancellation during the trip for any reason.
4. Insurance Policy
Travel insurance is not included in the tour price but it is compulsory to complete the insurance policy. The traveler must provide evidence to our office that you have completed the agreements with any travel insurance company or request us to assist you. Travel insurance concludes the emergency medical evacuation, accidental death, and dismemberment (AD & D), repatriation of remains, loss of checked goods, emergency support, and many more.
5. Health and Fitness Requirements
To be a part of mountaineering, expedition, trekking, or motorbike tour to the Himalayas, you must possess good health and physical fitness. If you are suffering from severe muscular, heart, chest, or bronchial disorders, or you are patient of a severe asthmatic, we highly recommend you not to participate. Medical and evacuation expenses will be the traveler’s own responsibility and therefore we require insurance on traveling and medical terms.
6. Age limits
There should be a legal guardian along with the children under the age of sixteen. However, there are no age limitations for tours but there are age restrictions for trekking and mountaineering. For trekking, you must have the age of nine years or above and for mountaineering, you should have the age of sixteen years or above.
7. Route changes, postponement, and cancellations
Ticino Treks Nepal reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any routes or trips either before or during the journey, if any unwanted or threatening condition is likely to happen due to inclement weather, snow-condition, political, military, or terrorist activities. In such cases, you will have no right of refund of the trekking, mountaineering, or tours.
8. Proof or Information required during travel
You must be responsible to obtain proper legal identification upon any check by the authorities during the travel. You must bear legal governmental permits to enter into the conserved areas.
9. Image and Video publicity
Our company holds all the right to feature your image taken during the trip for publicity and company promotion purposes without any compensation in any media.
10. Authority
The agreement and all rights and obligations of the parties will be construed and take effect in accordance with and can be governed by the laws of Nepal and the Nepal tourism association.
