The Gurung people of Nepal call this area home and consider it an abode for their gods. The Annapurna Base Camp trek is only moderately challenging but offers the promise of some spectacular views. Travelers have dubbed it an ideal trek because it is pleasant and short, but scenically marvelous. Everything from lowland villages and rice terraces to high glaciers is part of this experience. This trek is particularly lucrative for those who want quick access to Himalayan peaks. Unlike in the journey to the Everest region, altitude sickness is not so much of a problem. Neither is the headache of finding flights. Peaks like Annapurna, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli surround the Annapurna Base Camp, making this a truly sacred journey.

Not to discourage travelers from coming here during other times of the year, but the Annapurna Base Camp trek is even more serendipitous during spring; the forests along the trail come alive with colors.

Also, this trek has a flexible approach it can be done from different directions and on different time frames. Our program given below is the combination of the famous Poon Hill trek.
