Rolwaling & Khumbu valley
Tea-house & tenting camp
This trek routes all the way to Lukla from Barahbise via. Tashi Lapcha Pass. The trek begins from Bahrabise, a place on the way to Nepal-China border. The Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m.) offers a spectacular view of the Gaurishankar, Pachharmo, Jugal and Rolwaling range. Trekking through the Tashi Lapcha Pass is considered a challenging one. Hence, some mountaineering experience is suggested.
The rest day at Na Gaun can be best utilized by exploring the glaciers and lake nearby. Thame, a village in the Solukhumbhu region with majorly Sherpa inhabitants, is known for being a transit area for trekkers who wish to conquer Mt. Everest.
Years back, Namche Bazaar was a trading post, specifically when locals of Namche Bazaar bartered their dairy products with agricultural products. The Namche monastery, Namche library, Museum of Sherpa life and the Namche bazaar (market) can be the major places to visit in the Namche area. In the Namche market, trekkers can refill or buy the necessities. Lodging, food, communication and even medical facilities are not a problem in the Namche region. Visitors can find a variety in all.
Namche to Lukla is just a day trek and is also not as difficult as the trek was. However, the last fraction is a bit arduous.
