Tilicho peak is one of the most appealing 7000m undertakings in the Manang district. It is at an elevation of 7,134 meters and was first moved in 1978 when Mr. Emanuel Schmutz from a French group reached the summit. Tilicho peak is one of the most notable things of the Great Barrier which connects Khangsar Kang(7,458 m) and Nilgiri North(7,061 m) together. Tilicho Peak is a mountain in Nepal that is close to Annapurna. The mountain was found in 1950 by a group directed by Maurice Herzog who was obsolete to discover Annapurna I.

Tilicho climbing is one of the most enduring and more testing climbs. We pursue the trekking course of Annapurna circuit up to Manang town and after that, we continue towards Tilicho Lake to approach the mountain by means of Besi Khola and Khangsar. There will be II or III high camps built up for the summit strike on Tilicho peak after base camp. The first camp is arranged on a rack below the north-west shoulder above the blended shake and ice landscape. Camp II is at an altitude of 6,100 m which is situated on the shoulder. Climbing Tilicho requires a lot of effort and also requires fixed ropes as you approach the camp II.

The normal trek course for arriving at the Advanced Base Camp of Tilicho Peak is through the Marsyangdi Valley. The overall period takes around 8 days and offers incredible acclimatization. On your return, we can visit Jomsom and Pokhara. Overall, this climb is worth the effort and time. You can have breathtaking views of different mountains and sceneries. The most suitable time to climb in Nepal is March-May(spring) and October-November. Summer is the best time to visit Tilicho Lake. The base camp is set up around an altitude of 4,800 m which is situated at the foot of Tilicho Peak.

FAQ

Yes, we are. We have been organizing treks, tours, and Expeditions for our beloved valued clients that go beyond two decades. We’ve enjoyed always nothing more than this.

All of the guides are specialists in their work and speak fluently English and other languages too, most are born in the areas they escort trekkers to and have many years of experience in guiding foreign travelers. It’s compulsory to carry the first aid with them when they are on the trek as they are trained too.
