The Nar Phu valley is located in the Annapurna region. The place is a set of amazing forests, beautiful monasteries, remote ethnic villages, and their culture. Nar and Phu are two villages with basically Tibetan inhabitants. Nar Phu valley is one of the most remote places in Nepal.

Tilicho is located in the high Himalayan region around Annapurna. The Tilicho Lake (4,919 m.) and the Tilicho Peak (7,134 m.) are major attractions of the Tilicho region.

The Chulu-West is situated in the Annapurna region. Astonishing views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri are visible from Chulu-West. Trek to Chulu-West is an adventurous one. It demands good health and trekking experience.

Thorang-La Pass is another major charm of the Annapurna trekking region. Crossing the Thorang-La Pass is a strenuous job, altitude sickness being one of the frequent challenges. But the trail is an easy one, in case weather conditions are good.

At the base of Thorang-La Pass lies Muktinath temple. The Muktinath temple is a sacred place for both Hindus and Tibetan Buddhists. It is also known as the place of liberation or moksha.

Ghorepani is one of the most popular trek routes in Nepal. It is also graded as being an easy one. The Ghorepani route links many Gurung villages. At Ghorepani, a hike to Poon-hill (3,193 m.) during sunrise will be a worthy one. The sight of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu will astonish any individual.

Itinerary

We will begin our journey towards Beshisahar early in the morning. From Besisahar, we will take another jeep to travel towards Jagat. In total, we will travel for 8 hours.

We will begin our trek through the downhill track to the Marsyangdi River and then walk through a verdant forest which offers stunning views of Himalayan Ranges. The route traverse through several villages like Tal (1,700 m), Karte (1,900 m), and many others.

We will trek through the old Annapurna circuit trek route, crossing amazing gorges and past stunning waterfalls. We will walk for 5 hours to reach Koto Village.

The trekking route passes through beautiful woods, and pilgrims’ resting places. The trail passes under a wide waterfall, from which point the woods become thinner and the vistas wider. The last stretch into Methang involves climbing a steep hill, from which there are amazing views of some of the giant snowy peaks in the area.

We will begin our trail through the colorful Tibetan Buddhist chortens that Nar and Phu are famous for begin to appear in sight. The trail continues through the ridge with an amazing vistas of Nar Phedi Monastery. We will hike around the village, walk up to the famous Tashi Lhakhang Gumba and explore other monasteries.

We will trek back to Methang village.

We will change the route towards Naar Phedi walking through the steeply up climb that crosses the Naar Phedi Monastery before we reach the Naar Village.

Today, we will start walking early in the morning heading towards Khang La Pass. It is elevated at an altitude above 5,300 meters and is quite challenging. The top of the pass offers amazing view over Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The trail down starts off steep towards Ngawal.

We will trek about 5 hours through downhill to reach Julu (3,900 m). The route offers stunning views of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilicho, and Chulu East.

We will pass through several wonderful villages before we reach the biggest village of the region, Manang.

Tilicho Base Camp is about 20 kilometres far from the Manang and is rated as moderate trail.

We will explore the hidden treasure of the highest altitude lake i.e. Tilicho Lake. Then, we will descend back to Khangsar Camp for the overnight stay.

The trail goes through the peace and cool environment towards extra-ordinary village of Ledar.

Today, we will continuously walk for 6 hours to reach the Base Camp. We will walk through the challenging rocky ridges to reach there.

Earlier, we will descent towards Chegaji River and follow it for a while. Later, we will walk through exhausting uphill climb, cross the moraines and walk on snowy slopes to reach High Camp.

We will begin our trail through the quite challenging snow ridge. The Chulu West Peak offers the great panoramic vistas of the adjacent snow-topped mountains. We can also view the breathtaking landscape of the valley below. We will rest for a while here enjoying the summit view and taking photographs. Later, we will descend back to the Base Camp.

The track descends to cross the river at 4,310 meters we then climb up to Phedi at 4,420 meters. At High Camp on the elevation of 4,600 meters, we can recently found some good Guesthouses built.

We will trek towards quite challenging and one of the high elevated Pass in the world that is located at an altitude of 5,416 meters. The top of the Pass offers stunning views of the high Himalayas above the sky and rivers and valleys below us. We will reach Muktinath after 7 hours of trekking.

We will drive by jeep through thrilling mountain road to reach Tatopani. We will experience the natural hot spring bath in Tatopani.

We will trek through the beautiful and dense forests of rhododendron and pine forest to reach Ghodepani Village.

We will hike to Poonhill from Ghodepani early in the morning for sunrise panoramic view of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri ranges. Then return to Birethanti village for the overnight stay.

We will walk for 30 minutes to reach the bus stand then travel back to Pokhara.

You can take a flight to Kathmandu or drive through the beautiful highway that goes through wonderful landscapes.

FAQ

There might be some fixed departures in the peak season but you can check our fixed departures. If you are with some friends you can join with others if you want to. Even if you are alone, you can trek along with other groups, our well-experienced staff will not let you feel alone or bored.

Tea house means local lodges that exist along the treks where we will sleep and eat. These lodges prepare a large variety of local and western meals at a reasonable price. Our guides are very familiar with all these tea houses.

As a first aid kit is important while trekking, we included it in the trek. And we also have guides who are trained in using a first aid kit in case of emergency too. Please note that our clients are responsible to bring all their required personal medications (prescription) for their allergies etc.

Yes, there are many trekking shops in Nepal where you can easily hire or purchase backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, down jackets, etc. You can easily find them mostly in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Yes, we will provide a responsible guide and our company takes all responsibilities to happen all safely and comfortably.

The Nepal rupee (NR) is the local currency accepted throughout the country. You will be able to exchange your national currency for rupees at the airport, banks, and other currency exchange offices. You can also find some ATMs where you can get local currency with a debit card. Many shops and restaurants in Kathmandu and Pokhara accept Credit cards too.
